2014 F150 STX jumpseat / console swap?
Pulled my jumpseat and need a console- 2014 STX regular cab, grey interior. Anyone interested, email me or post.
I'm hoping the console just attacehs to the metal bracket w/ the same 4 screws that held the jumpseat in? can anyone comment?
Seat is brand new and mint, phone pics aren't the greatest (white speckles on one pic, dunno why). I'm in Minneapolis, MN. Thanks.
(PS - I did 'search' this forum first to swap, but so many unrelated threads pop up, it became a PITA to keep reading all of them)

You wil need to reposition your current bracket and drill new holes or get the correct bracket.

I did this swap a few months ago. It's really easy, just place your new center console over the existing aluminum "bracket" that the jumper seat was attached and drill 4 new holes in the aluminum to secure the new console. Unfortunately the holes do not line up with the jump seat holes or it would be an even easier swap but its still pretty quick. I didn't even remove the seats, just moved the seats forward to get to the rear holes and back to reach the front holes, just remember to reattach the 12v harness before you secure everything for good.

Did you sell the seat? What console did you end up putting in? I have the same interior and the seat covers need replacing, thinking of changing to Jump seat console from similar model, or replacing covers.

I found an alternative to replacing the entire jump seat. It's on a reddit site titled "adding_jumpseat_storage_to_a_2018_f150_xl". It shows how to replace the non-opening armrest by cutting the fabric, removing the foam cushion, and installing an OEM storage compartment with lid/armrest.
The posting includes pictures, instructions and part numbers. The cost of parts on the Tasco site is about $150 and doesn't require removing the seat or wasting a lot of what's already installed in the truck. Note that the picture in the Ford parts list of the "armrest" (#18) looks like it only includes the lid/armrest, but it actually includes the lid/armrest, storage compartment, hinge and latch. Be sure to read all his instructions carefully first. He cut the old armrest fabric too far and had to have some extra sewn back on. I haven't tried it yet but I will when I get a chance.
