Yeah my 11 has 114k on it.. from what I read if I start it cold and it purrs like a kitten I should be GTG on these engines. It runs quiet. Sucks you gotta go through that crap man

You should be fine. My neighbor has a 12 mustang. Super quiet engine. It does suck bad. I will really consider another brand for my next purchase. Mostly due to shotty ford service in the area as I understand all can have issues.

Service manager called back. Said the shop foreman thought the parts were the same for both gens. Turns out they aren't.
Take it back tomorrow get another loaner for repair. Jeez these guys are fools. My time has to be worth something.

Truck is back at the dealer. I expressed my extreme displeasure and how I do not trust their work. This is the last time. I will be taking it elsewhere if its not fixed correctly this time. I'm trying to keep it between me and this dealership and not involve another facility but I will if necessary. I also brought up tsb 14-0134 for the noise in the transmission. We shall see. Round and round we go.

I picked the truck up today. Sounds worse if anything. The dealership said there is nothing more they can do for me. They claim the engine is normal and they've done all they can.

Most definitely dry starting when it's hot. I'm betting oil pressure is below spec. I will find out tomorrow when I figure out where to tap in to check it.

Stopped by the dealership today. They refused to walk beside the truck and said it is all normal thats just the way they sound, conveniently they didn't have an 11-14 to compare it to. Pretty much walked off from me and said if it gets worse come back. Not sure what my next move is other than trading it in?
