2014 EB Throttle Body Question
Hey all . I’ve got a 2014 3.5 EB FX4 . Recently went into limp mode and wrench light showed up on dash. Code reader says :
P2112 : Throttle Actuator Control System- stuck closed
Looks like pretty easy fix . Wondering if any one has any experience swapping these out. Seems like a common problem. Is there any kind of ECU reset needed? Plug-n-play? Any reason to go with “upgrade” part? OEM? Thanks in advance for any wisdom.

No upgrades, the OEM throttle body is recommended. Or Hitachi, who makes the OEM one. It is a common issue and its easy to swap. There is a hose clamp, 4 bolts and a plug that needs to be disconnected. I cannot remember if the new throttle body comes with a new gasket or not.
I believe you might be able to do a throttle relearn but not entirely sure as I have never tried.
