I probably should have updated this... It appears mine dumped 90% of it's fluid on my street. So it dumped, I somehow stopped in the garage, and then when I restarted the truck I had no breaks. This wasn't a small leak, the entire master blew it's load and took out several other smaller components. It was down for a week.

Default Brake failure 2014 F150

I had this same issue, brake pedal randomly gets soft and depresses all the way to the floor. I took it to the Ford dealership but even after one of their representatives duplicated the issue, they are saying nothing is wrong. At this point it's a serious life safety issue as I don't feel comfortable driving my 8 months pregnant wife around in my truck. My truck only has 3,100 miles on it and I bought it brand new December 31 2014. So frustrating dealing with Ford when there is no concern for their consumers safety. They have tried to release the truck back to me twice with no resolution to the issue. I refuse to drive this vehicle until this issue is resolved even though the dealership continues to insist that I pick up my vehicle unfixed.

Make sure you guys are filing your failures with nhtsa.

Only way recalls will ever come out.

Any idea which line or connection point was the root cause of losing most all of the brake fluid? This would go a long way to F-150 owners could inspect their trucks and potentially dangerous issue.

At this point I might just have to. Its just beyond me seeing the lack of care for safety that this Ford dealership has. Very disappointing and makes me regret ever buying a Ford.

I stumbled upon that site last night, I will post my complaint to hopefully help expose this defect.

No smoking gun on mine. It looks like the break booster blew a seal according to the tech. But then again he also said it was possible my full race intercooler caused it. Take what you will from that.

TSB 15-0003 calls for the replacement of PCV'S and break booster lines. Might be unrelated but that TSB is for fuel in oil.

Very unrelated TSB.

The cause it that the booster and master cylinder seal is failing and the booster itself is filling with the oil. Happened to quite a few people. And you likely won't see a leak at all.

Mine showed no evidence of a leak. In fact no one is sure where the stupid oil went.
