Default 2014 AC clutch issue

My AC clutch is not engaging. I am looking for a electrical diagram to see if it is an electrical issue. Anyone have a diagram and or any advise how to troubleshoot this issue?

You sure you're not low on refrigerant?

I put my gauges on it and the system is fully charged.

It is impossible to determine that a system is "fully charged" if it isn't running. All one can measure is the "static" pressure which only takes a couple of ounces of refrigerant in the system to register.

Good to know about static pressure. Another indication is that when I am driving I do get cold air, but when the truck is static the temperature rises.

And fry a very sensitive electronic control module in the process. These trucks aren't 20 years old. Besides, there is no way to jump what I imagine your thinking "a pressure switch" am I right? Of course I am. Can't do that now, it's all computer controlled.

I've tried charging mine a few times and it always said full, then would cluck and hear air or something escape after all buttoned up. Lately I've noticed my fan on when I remote start or idLe and engine cold. Browsed some threads and someone had the same deal as me, they let a little squirt of low pressure out and fixed. Seeing as my fan clutch never engaged I didn't have much to lose. Bled a seconds or two worth and viola, ac clutch engages and it doesn't kick the fan on as much. Might be wOrth a try

Actually, it's quite easy to manually activate the clutch without any concern of damaging the control electronics. Simply pull the clutch relay (isolates from the control electronics) and then jumper the normally open terminals in the relay's socket. That will directly apply power to the compressor clutch coil.

True that. Wonder if the op has the wiring diagram to show which terminals to jump. Not the best idea for a novice.
