I like the smokey look, I wasn't too thrilled when I saw the chrome ones. I'll be ordering some OEM HID's when I can get my hands on them.

Yep...the grey and red one. This lot was full of different trim levels and options.

I believe you hit the nail on the head. Neither the cell phone camera or lighting were very good. I literally spent a total of 2 minutes looking and taking the pictures than I had to go.

There is very little light on the front of the pickup so it's hard to see them clearly but they should look good.

Of course; that just adds to the appeal on the mono-chrome FX trucks!!

I am sure, that in normal light, to the eye, they will look great.

In my opinion the new headlights look awesome and the pictures really don't do them any justice. I know there are other folks on here from around the KC metro and I know that Ford had staging areas like this all over the KC area so maybe some of our brave associates will venture out about town to snap a few more photos for us now that they know they are there.

From my point of view, looks like the HIDs are covered with some sort of smoked adhesive.. just as the wheels!

You really think they would darken the lens from the factory like it 'appears' though?
