Default 2013 USB and SD Card module dead??

Fired up the truck, got an SD Nav error.

Pulled card, reinserted. Nada. Nothing.
Noticed the USB's are both dead too!!

Pulled module, plugged into desktop. Nothing.
Pulled battery and reset Sync. Added module back. Still dead.

Out of ideas for now. What say you?

Given its a 2013 truck, you put WAY more effort into it than I wold have. Warranties are there for a reason.

Given the difficulties I've had with my unit since I took delivery I'm going to take mine to the dealer just to have them do the new update. I believe in keeping people employed.

I'm prepping for the warranty visit now.

Would rather do it myself, but I'm not going out of pocket for parts until I have to.

I've had some bad experiences in the past with dealership service departments, so I hate to take it in for something I can fix in a few minutes.

It'd be great if they'd let me swap out the bad parts at the counter...

Dug around on some parts websites.

The part number I see on the Media Hub appears to be missing from the list of truck parts, but I found it on the cars. Go figure.

For all the hassle to let the dealer diagnose and such, it would almost be cheaper (time wise) to just buy the damn part myself. That way I don't need to worry about them applying any TSB's to my truck and ruining it because I've not had a single shudder or condensation event.

Took it in this morning.

They are ordering a new chip??? Writer called it an APIX chip??
Said the chip installs in the device behind the touchscreen and then they have to install new software via the SD card??

That doesn't jive with my diagnosis, but as long as it starts working again, I'm happy.

Parts should be in on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll have a better idea of what they replace and update.
