the truck I am looking at must have the Max Tow as she has the 5.0, L9/3.55 locker and a TBC....

am i correct?

Max tow was not available on a 5.0, just the Ecoboost and the 6.2. It can haul 7700 pounds VS mine that can haul 9800 pounds and I do not have Max Tow on mine.

Depends on the option package. I bought my 13 XLT 5.0 brand new and it had the basic tow package that included the TBC, 4 and 7 pin trailer connectors and class IV hitch. Not max tow.

Use this one. Pg 26 for lariat trims. Trailer brake controller was an option for the lariat but required some sort of tow package. Could be any tow package though.

Tow package and Max tow are 2 different things, my friends RCSB 4X4 STX with a 3.7 in it has a brake controller and both trailer plugs since it has the Tow package, my FX2 is the same way but neither are Max Tow.
