That part is annoying, but ALOT of people on here do that. How many times have we saw. Hey guys, 2011 4x4 Screw EB/5.0 Platinum , was wondering what kind of wax to put on the truck? hahaha

I'm really glad they went with a Platinum Super Duty trim. I've been wondering for the last couple years why they haven't had one. Nice upper level option above the Lariat for those that don't like the cowboy-style King Ranch. While it's not something I'd buy, it's always a good idea to give buyers more options, especially the ones with deep pockets. This will compete nicely against the GMC Denali and the Ram Limited.

As to the truck specifically, I like the mesh on the grill. Not really a fan of the pecan interior, but I know some people will love it. I think the new MyFord Touch interface on the center stack will take some getting used to. I've yet to actually research or play with MyFord Touch so I still don't get the big deal about it. Now, that it's making its way into the trucks I guess I'll look more into it. My first reaction was I don't like how all that stuff looks on the center stack, but again it's probably just something that I need to get used to. I live in Lariat and Platinum country, so I'm excited to see one of these in the flesh sometime soon.

If I can get my wife through RN school, a platinum 150 may be in my future, but I can almost guarantee that a Platinum 250 wont be in my driveway.....unless I get a 2013 model in say, 2020, hahaha

I can't ever foresee a SD Platinum in my driveway anytime soon...but the one kool aspect of this new truck is the raised " P L A T I N U M " letters for the bed side. I've been wanting to do this since the day I bought mine, but never found the right font that would fit. Good things come to those who wait!!!!!

I bet it will be way pricey, but also way nice. It would be a great truck to tow a 5th wheeler or TT.
