2013 Remote Start

Here is an update to the great thread. I love the info provided here, it has really helped.
I went to the dealership and got confusing answers on remote start- they could only tell me $350 plus $200 installation. I asked if I would end up with 2 fobs, also is the remote 2 way to signal the truck is running, they did not know.
So, I went to Tasca Parts website after doing research here and ordered BC3Z19G364Afor $176 plus shipping. This model supplies you with 2 new 4 button keys and the module with cable. Other models have the remote (longer range) antenna on the windshield and 2 way feedback, but this one will do just fine for me.
It took 10 minutes to install. I have a key machine so cutting and programming the keys was easy. Now the hard part- the dealer.
They did it for $80 plus tax, took just a few minutes. The only problem was the service manager who loudly berated me for doing it myself. "You saved yourself maybe $100 but you do realize this starter will not have a warranty don't you?" He said it about 4 times and each time I agreed I was a rat. Finally he wrote it up and away we went.
Anyway, system is great.
