Thanks
You wont want to put the switchback type in the rear brake lights, or reverse lights. They do sell V3's in only Yellow, Red, and White colors as well. The Red V3's will work just fine in your tail lights, just like any other LED. Except they will be super bright which isnt a bad thing. same thing with the white version for reverse. I was thinking of going with the white ones for my reverse lights as well.

Just ordered these in 5K as a filament went out in one light. So I figured I might as well switch 'em out for LED, right? The item description says no hyperflash so it looks like they fixed the flash issue, so separate flasher relay isn't needed. We'll see.

Easy install, works like a charm. No hyperflash. I zip-tied the control box to a metal brace underneath the headlight housing. Looks pretty good I think!

Nice, they look pretty bright. I wonder how it would work with mine. I had my DRL's turned on.

I had my DRL's turned on by my dealer too, and wondered how that might impact the V3s. They work great, so you shouldn't have any issues either. They are only amber when activating the turn signal; otherwise are bright white. Good luck if you do it, and feel free to PM me w/any questions on the install. Pretty straightforward.

What base holder are you guys ordering with your V3 Triton leds? I see 2 different types for 3157. Is this all I would need to do the install?

Possible to make this kit run as daytime lights? Meaning you can run them without needing to change the truck light setting and using separate switch.

Select the "3157 10-UP FORD" adapter in the pull-down list on the VLEDS site. That's the one you need.

You can have your DRL function activated by your dealer, and then these lights (or whatever light you have for your turn signal/parking light) will operate as DRLs.
