Within the first week I removed the 4x4 stickers and the flex fuel badge. Much cleaner looking. I really don't need to, or care to, tell the other drivers what equipment in on my vehicles.

I'am on the fence as well about taking the decals off, when I look at ours on the FX4 and the XTR I like them, other decals not so much some too large...


But my Buddy in the lower pic took his off his stock 2013 FX4 and it looks like a 2wheel drive behind my truck.....so


But I do think mine tie in with my truck all the chrome and the taillights on my XTR, and the wife's is a small Decal


although id like to get Moody Blue to make me something just no idea's as to what

Just got my truck last week and removed the FX4 decal today. Tomorrow I will remove the EcoBoost emblem now that I know they do not have alignment pins...

I made the dealership agree to remove all the decals from my truck before I signed any paperwork. They thought it was a strange request but agreed to it.

Looks awesome on the truck. I'd like to get a set of those matte black decals for my truck too. Are the decals one big single layer printed with a clear backing similar to my STX one I took off? Or is it like regular decal you would have made at a vinyl shop with application tape you peel off then?

My '08 decals are brittle. Tried picking away at a corner of one and didnt get much done. Any help out there on a removal technique? I want'em gone.

Thanks, I think the matte contrast looks subtle. You peel the backing off and mist the area with water and that allows you to move them around to align. I used a credit card to squeegee and lock them in place.

The 2nd week I removed the 4x4 stickers and one of the Rocky Ridge decals on the tailgate, a much cleaner look in my opinion. I left the Altitude Edition decals on ... for now
