I'm thinking my truck was put together on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon. 2013 FX2 Supercrew w/ 5.0 with 103K miles on it already having a transmission trouble, torque converter according to a transmission shop and the local Ford dealer. Is this a common occurrence? I had hoped it was the lead frame problem, but didn't throw those codes. The dealer priced me w/ changing the Torque converter and screen for about $2800. My local performance/transmission shop quoted me the Torque converter change at $1600 and a full transmission rebuild at $3500.
Anyone have this issue already? Any recommendations?
