I know I am not the only one out there that isn’t having a code stored.
was out with my wife today and pulled into an intersection and the truck went into fifth.
she got a video and pic of it.
fifth gear and 5mph or less.
stopped at the dealer and the manager said they can’t do anything since it doesn’t have a code stored.
he said I could pay for an hour of diagnostic time ($105) to see if they read a code that my two readers can’t see.
Unreal.

Finally a code.
P0720. Which of course cleared once I turned the key off. Needed to do that so I could get home.
code cleared and ran fine once I restarted.
dealer of course tells me they can’t see the code if I can’t so no reason to bring it in.
TSB for that code is for F150 before April 13. Mine is July.

I changed my lead frame connector and my truck won't start. Im almost positive i have my range switch lined up properly as the gear shifter will move to every gear. I dropped the pan again and looked to see and the switch is in the slot and will shift to every gear. When i turn the key over to just use the battery the park light is orange on the dash. I turn the key all the way over and it no longer lights up orange. When the key is turn all the way over there is a humming noise underneath that sounds like power is going to the transmission. Has anyone had this happen and would anyone have some suggestions? How do i know if my range switch is properly aligned?

Lead frame connector
Earlier you said your gear indicator is stuck in 2, this is the problem, there's a range switch built into the lead frame that needs to be lined up with the shifter selector in the trans when it's installed. If it isn't lined up properly the truck won't start because it won't register as being in park or neutral, you need to drop the valve body back down and line it up properly.
