Default 2013 F 150 Remote Start Antenna Question

I have a 2013 F 150 Xl with power windows and locks. I was going to get the oem remote start bi directional kit. I I seen they have a ultra long range antenna JS7Z-15603-A available for the 2018 would that work on these trucks also? I plan on using the remote start 200. Thanks

Nothing electronic that works on an 18 will work on the 13 as far as accessories go. You have remote start built in to the truck, use Forscan to enable it and with the antenna extension cable can get decent range. It's 1 way with the fob integrated into the key head.

Then there's the two way which is a lot longer range and has feedback to let you know it started.

Then if you decide you want unlimited range cell phone remote access, add the required VSS and cell phone RMU I think it's called. I have it on my truck and love it.

There is a $50/yr sub to the cell phone access.

All of the above are plug-n-play mostly.

I have a 2013 STX. Does this mean I have an antenna already and just need to get the extension cable and key fob? Is there a kit that I can get to make remote start work on this truck?
Thanks for the help!

Did you make a decision on which one you will get? I would like to do this on my 2013 STX. Thanks!

Not on that trim level, you need the antenna and the extension cable as well as two new keys with the 4th button and possibly the hood switch. Check Ebay for supply but steer clear of any kits that do not use genuine Ford parts. There are bootleg keys floating around that either don't work at all or work half the time.

I ordered these three part numbers from autonation.
DL3Z-15K601-A
Remote Start, Key Fob, Bi-Directional
DL3Z-19A361-A
Vehicle Security System, Ford Perimeter Plus
DL3Z-15603-C
Vehicle Security System, Upgradeable

This is everything you need for the long range bi directional key fob kit. You will have to use forscan or get the dealer to turn it on in your computer. It works at a longer range plus I dont have to get any keys cut. I was going to compare this connector to the ultra long range connector but local ford dealership didnt have the ultra in stock and didnt want to be the 30$ test dummy.

I'm interested in your install when you get the parts in.
