i can't find any reference to tsb 12-11-15. I also think your dealer went above and beyond what was actually required by replacing the plug and coil assembly unless that tsb is listed out there and includes more parts to swap.
Na man, that is the code. The TSB is in the description.

Definitely can't argue with that. It is weird how the part number only has 1 letter different than the other TSB. Would be interesting if someone could lookup the TSB you listed.

Is the TSB number referencing the release date of the TSB? In other words, his is from a 11/15/2012 bulletin. I'm concerned b/c the parts that I'm waiting for would have been from the other TSB and does not include the catalytic converter.

I think it got replaced because it failed, but I'd err on the side of caution and wait until you get the TSB done.

Yea, that really scared me. His words: "Im glad you brought it in when you did, a few hundred more miles and it could have caught fire."

Not what I wanted to hear about a brand new truck...

I did a Google search on both numbers (with the D and B). They both come up as a Ford Intercooler number. The D variation is more expensive.

Very interesting for me, because I am on the fence about buying a '13 next week.

So is the "B" version the earlier TSB, and "D" the latest? (Presumably there is an "A" version that was factory?)

The truck I am looking at has a window sticker date of Oct 2nd, 2012, so I'm trying to figure out 1) if it has the latest stuff, and 2) if the latest stuff does indeed fix the problem.

From what I was told, the earlier tsb was just the shield. This is supposedly a totally redesigned cac.

im with bchandler, so why is there so much confusion about what was installed and when, Sept 18th is the magic cutoff, so if your truck was built after that date what in the heck did they do to the truck differently (parts). Was it just a shield? A Flash program? Readjust any computer? New Intercooler, new parts for the intercooler, reroute the water? and so on and so on...For those in the KNOW, help those out that arent and explain or provide the link where FORD released some press to validate or verify the upgrades. Anyone?

I'm totally confused now here is a pic of mine built Oct 13 2013 and I don't see any part number like that on it. I have no issues. I'm also surprised Ford would not supercede the old part with the new one rather than have the possibility of having to do it twice.
