Took the Truck into the dealership last week for rear end noice and my check engine light had just came on. After fixing the rear end the service adviser informed me that the technician has stated the code is pointing toward a faulty PCM, which is on backorder until late June. The timing chain and solenoids were just replaced about 40K ago. During heavy acceleration I’m getting a chirping sound and major lack of power. Has anyone ever had a PCM go bad? This seems a little strange!! Every forum points to the chain!
