Apparently they are still having supply problems.
From what I am hearing, it just isn't fixing it for everyone. Some seem satisfied, others not, so that tells me that either
1) Those that report as fixed just haven't had the magical conditions to make it happen again
OR
2) It improved, but is not 100% fixed. Those reporting it as fixed likely had less severe problems (less water buildup???), but those that were in extremely good conditions for the problem continue with problems.

There's probably no way to tell since Ford continues to keep everyone in the dark on this problem.

I canceled my visit to the dealer this morning. Just gonna sit on it and see what happens. I'm not interested in having them flash my PCM and I loose power, as some have reported, just to eliminate this problem. I know how to create it, so I'll do my best to avoid the contributing factors till they have a firm fix in place without compromising power......

Did your CEL come on and stay on when you lost power? Even after I took mine in they said the CEL would be on until the CAC was replaced. Was this your experience? I'm not real pleased about having to drive with the CEL on until I get a new CAC--seems like they should be able to reset the CEL.

My CEL did not come on at all. The truck just fell on its face and shook like crazy until I got to the side of the Interstate and let the engine settle down.
Then I continued on with no problem, but I was careful not to stomp on it. I did not want any more problems since I was only about 200 miles into a 1600 mile trip.

They told the truth. They can reset the light. If the CAT is bad, it will immediately re-set the code when you crank it (or within a few miles). Odds are, they did reset the code and it came back before you even saw it was out as they drove out of the repair bay.

Started my truck this AM and there was NO CEL after almost a week of driving with it on AND my remote start was working again. Maybe the CAC needed a week to dry out! Sure hoping a new CAC will take care of the problem.

yep... my 2011 EB continued to have the same problems long after all the TSB were completed. I sold it and bought a 2013 non-EB in July 2013.

This.

I dealt with mine for over a year. Had three and a half incidents where it fell on it's face, in the rain, while passing, on the highway. Every TSB, no change in behavior. Only thing the TSBs did was make mine feel weaker.

Traded it for a 5.0 last month, haven't looked back.

I think Ford has a TSB out for dealers to install an "emergency third turbo charger" with a floorboard activated switch next to the gas pedal.
