2013 Eco Tuner?

2013 Eco Tuner?
So before you guys jump on me, I did do a search on the forum and didn't find anything about tuners and tunes for the 2013 model. I called SCT since most on here say its the better one out there and they don't have any time frame as to when the 2013 will be supported. I asked the tech about it leaving a foot print on the ECU and he said if you have a problem and you re-load the original Map, Flash, tune whatever you want to call it; that it would not leave a foot print on the computer and there is no way FORD could ever deny your warranty. I have read all the post on here that deal with this and have found conflicting info, so whats the latest on this and has anyone specifically had first hand knowledge in regards to this issue????

Did you just talk to SCT? Cause they released the preloaded tunes for the 13 year about two weeks and will of course work with a custom tune as well.

Talked to Juan about ten minutes ago said, not supported yet for 2013, said in about a month or so. Said 2012 should work but said due to the bigger turbo's they needed to do some work on it. Just passing along the info.

Well that was news to me so I just called SCT and got clarification.
They have released the 2013 Model year preloaded tunes but that doesn't contain the 13 Ecoboost specifically yet for the reason above you said. He said it would be about two weeks to a month before rolled out, they have most of the strategy codes for the 13 model year already but working on finish tweaking all the tunes before rolling everything out at once.
Course, you can still do a custom tune with your 13 currently as well.

5* has tunes for the 2013 using the SCT. I'll be putting mine to the test pulling my 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer loaded + gear and 3 buddies on Wednesday. Roughly 900 miles round trip. Can't wait to see how the Ecoboost performs!
