I've recently noticed as I had my window down when I shut my truck off there is a chirp/squeak. You can't hear it when windows are up. With the good open and using the remote start feature to start and shut the truck off, the best I can tell it is coming from the area of where the alternator is (drivers side). It almost sounds like a belt squeak some get with Diesel engines.

Anyone else notice this? If not a trip to the dealer maybe in the near future

 

Not normal. How long does the squeak last?

 

About 1 sec. It's right when the engine shutdown comes to a complete stop. It does not make the noise at startup or while running at all.
