I posted this question in the General Forum but thought maybe it belongs here.

I just picked up my 2013, traded in my 2004. I am new to the forum and hoping someone else with a new F150 can confirm how the insulation is supposed to look on the back wall of the standard cab.

I have attached a picture of where the insulation meets the window. Its the XL, 8ft bed.

Kinda sloppy looking no? Just seems like they forgot to install a trim piece or something.

Thoughts?

 

looks the same as my STX, I agree it looks like they forgot to put a piece on it. But I don't think they did.

 

My 2012 XL super cab looked like that. I'm sure they didn't forget anything.

 

my 201 lariat was the same
and the new 13 king ranch is better...but still needs a trim piece

in fact after i did the seat fold mod cable
i found my driver side rear seat has an odd cut out in the side, about the size of a half dollar midway on the side panel between the two seats
its in need of a piece of trim
I am taking it in to have them look at it
