2013 battery messages
2013 F-150 Platinum EB. Battery and alternator were replaced by previous owner 2-3years ago. Seemingly no battery related issues. Starts right up when it’s -10F. Battery voltage is 14.3v when driving.
I have recently been getting the “system off to save battery” message. It has been happening right when I turn the ignition off, not even sitting there with the radio on or anything.
Today I got a message on the screen right after turning the ignition off that said “vehicle transport mode active. Contact dealer”. Which is apparently some battery saving feature.
Do I need to reset the BMS or is this foreshadowing something wrong with the battery/alternator?
Thanks.

Probably battery problem, that's how mine behaved. Personally, I unplug the BMS sensor so it charges all the time, I think that increases battery life. I don't like Ford's implementation in these vehicles. Maybe they improved it in later years.
Test the battery. Both the old style load test and the newer electronic type if possible.
