2013 5.0L oil pressure sending unit
Please help. I can't seem to locate the oil pressure sending unit sensor on my 2013 F150 5.0L engine. There is a lot of info online about the 5.4L. I have searched the mustang forums too and no luck. Any advice, pictures, diagrams?
TIA

It is actually behind the alternator. You will have to remove the alternator to get to the sending unit.
This is a link to a Autometer mechanical oil pressure gauge being installed on a mustang. The truck is easier. It will take about 1.5-2 hrs to do it
Hope this helps.

You wont be able to get to it from the wheel well.It is right where the frame and bottom cross member meet.
I have a 6 inch lift so it was a little easier to do it.Removing the front air dam will help but you still wont have the room.My son was sitting straight up between the rad and the alternator.
I am just finishing up installing and wiring up my Light Bar & rear lights.I will see if I have the pics of when I did my Oil Pressure lin I just have to find them

I just went out and slid under my truck and that sensor is super easy to get to, no need to remove the alternator at all, hell I could touch it with a football if I wanted. Pic to show from underneath looking straight up, it's accessible in the huge gap between the alt and the motor mount. Exactly where the illustration I posted above shows it.
