Default 2013 5.0 true duals

So I had true duals put on my truck the other day they used some FLO~PRO original mufflers and it is way to loud now and seems to almost have a loss of power cruising around at 1k rpm or so.

The shop I had do the exhaust said they can change it to the FLO~PRO max mufflers and it should quite it down some. But they said that I shouldn't have experienced a loss of power or anything like that because of the exhaust.

I only had the truck for a day before I changed the exhaust so maybe I just didn't notice it until I changed the exhaust.

Anybody else experience this by going to true duals?

1k RPM is almost idle. Not very much power down there to begin with. The 5.0 likes to start making power in the 3-4k range. If you went "true duals" then you got rid of the Y pipe with the catalytic converters on it? If so, you may not have enough back pressure in your exhaust system for the motor to properly make make the hp/torque you're used to in the lower RPMs, though in the higher RPMs you should notice an increase in power, from the more free flowing exhaust system.

The cats are still there as they are on the manifolds we got rid of the resonator though. I am hoping the new mufflers will provide more back pressure and give me back some of the power down low.
