I have had my truck stall 3 times now since 11/29. I posted about both of them on someone else's thread, but it did it again today. I called the dealership and talked to them about it. They said that they have never heard of the 5.0 with that issue. He said that I could bring it in, but unless they can duplicate there is nothing they can do. He said if there is a problem it should get worse, then they would have a better chance of duplicating it. Well about 5 min after hanging up with him it did it again. It stops before I can get a video of it.
I noticed when it did it last time the instant MPG indicator was jumping around when I was sitting still. Today I noticed that when I tried to take off that the indicator didn't move, it stayed on zero. It seems to be happening after the truck sits turned off for a few minutes then is re-started.

Any body else having this issue with their 2013?

Throw a notepad in the truck and document when it does it and conditions when it happened.

There is likely a code stored in the computer, even if the cel isn't on.

 

Well maybe this time it is broken enough for them to find something. I left the restaurant tonight and it started doing it again. This time I got it on video. It also had the check engine warning come on. It was drive able, but only partially. It would only go about 40 mph tops and the info screen had no readings, and the speedo is not working. I limped it home and restarted it in the drive and still not working. Hopefully it is dead, so they can fix it.

 

No telling what it is...One of the Oxygen sensors perhaps? Bad Coil? Let us know what the Check ENG Light says when they pull the code.

I dropped it off this morning and left it running in the failed mode parked in the service lane at the dealership.

 

Sounds like a bad ground to me.
