I've seen various methods for removing the large mirror glass from the towing mirror but have yet to find one the looks like the power everything folding, extending, heated mirrors on my 2014. The mirror only moves enough to provide around 1/4" access at the top and bottom so even with a flashlight it's almost impossible to see what latches on the backside of the mirror glass. I don't want to poke around with a screwdriver as there are several small wires behind the mirror. I get the impression that the 2013-2014 mirror attachment may be different from earlier models. Anybody have pictures and a description on how to get the sucker off without breaking it? This mirror failed due to a faulty fold motor mechanism and I'd like to tear it down and try to fix it. A while back I found a video showing how to get is totally apart and repair it with a dab of JB Weld. Can someone provide the link to this video?
