Default 2013 18" Factory Tire Options

I am almost ready to place an order for a FX4. I know the standard 275/65R18 tires are the Scorpion ATRs. Does anyone know what you get if you order the LT275/65R18? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the extra $275 or if I would be better off just getting new tires after I get the truck.

Thanks!

Got the Goodyear ATS LT's on my 12 FX4 and have been happy with the tires so far. They were good in the snow and have handled towing duty quite well.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the LTX M/S 2. Have those on a Yukon Denali right now and I think that's the only tire I have ever seen on my dad's trucks.

My plan was to not ***** out the MS2 in this thread, but the cat's out of the bag so there's my queue.

The stock 18" Goodyear SRA's are really good on the snow and are nice and quiet, but I hear they have uneven wear problems. The LT rated upgrade tires will be Goodyear ATS...again, decent tire. My advice is to scrap the extra factory option and go with the MS2. They're really good at everything..

At this point will pass on the factory option and either go with the MS2 or BFG AT. I think the MS is a better tire, but I really like the way the BFGs look.

The MS is a much better tire. In this case I really highly recommend going with function > form as BFG's are pretty much terrible at everything..
