Default 2012 XLT remote start

I'm confused, will the Ford bc3z-19g364-a remote start kit work on my 2012 F150 XLT Super Crew with remote locks, alarm and hood switch? My key has three buttons, lock, unlock and panic.
Thanks in advance.

If that's the one that comes with two 4-button keys, yes.

Just by searching part number online I would say yes. Looks like what I put on my 2011 10 years ago.
I had to visit a dealer and cough up $30 for them to use IDS to turn it on. Might be able to use that Forscan thing now to do same.

If you go to a Ford parts website or Tasca Ford parts you can enter your Vin to confirm the fit. Good luck.Tim

Yep. Same kit I put on my 2011 a decade ago. Will work with existing keys/alarms. Like others said, confirm with VIN.

Yep. And you can buy the remote start 4-button keys, have them cut at a hardware store for a couple bucks, and use ForScan to program them yourself.

That will probably not work, because he is talking about adding a feature that was not provided to his VIN.

I bought this and paid the dealer $85 to install including all programming and new keys. On the Ford parts and accessories website the "kit" is listed and the dealer you select has a quoted install price. I looked at more than one dealer in my area and they were only $5 different. I knew I could DIY and save some $ but at my age it was worth paying the dealer. I confirmed the install price and the bought the kit from the dealer parts department.
Note that the window/mirror heaters won't turn on when remote starting, and in cold temperatures you want to select maximum heat when parking the night before as there is no auto temp control as there is with the factory dual zone. It works well and looks like original factory on the panel display/options.
Correction: As noted by others if temp control is enabled in options the heater with blow maximum hot when the outside temperature is cold and AC cold from the vents if outside temperature is hot. This works even with manual temperature control as standard on the XLT. When the key is turned to on the normal controls then are active. Thank you to those who educated me on this post.

Ford's accessories site lets you input your VIN and then will display accessories compatible with your vehicle, including the 4-button remote start system.
