Pour a bit of HEET on your squirters. They are frozen.

Any gas station. It is normally found in "car section" of the convenience store.

Unless you live in a dry area. HEET is basically alcohol.

Walmart, and just about any parts store in regions that get below freezing. And it's very affordable, something like a buck a bottle.

A lot of old-school truck drivers keep it in their tractor for when trailer lines freeze up. Pop the glad-hands off, pour some in the line, and cycle the brakes. Forces it through the lines all the way through the system... Works great. I've also used in other applications. Used to work at a machine company with heat-treaters and a cooling tower. In severe colds, the tower would freeze up, so I did some research and found it wasn't harmful to the rubber seals in the exchangers. Bought a few gallons, dumped it in the system, and it made a big difference, real quick.

You can also buy an aerosol version for spraying into brake drums, between the drum and shoes.

Costco here in Calgary often has green washer fluid that is rated for -40 for sale early in the winter. They may still have some, I think i was paying $9 for 4 jugs.

Now they only freeze up on the really cold (-50) days when I'm driving down the highway.

I'm going to Edmonton in a couple weeks, I'll look for it there.

Or you could install one of these if you really want to get serious.

I wish we could have the heating element in our windshields like Subaru has.
