Default 2012 PLatinum F 150 Ecoboost died.

Hey guys. I've been off line for a while, but here I am first day back and whine.
I was driving down the expressway yesterday morning, doing about 95kph when all of a sudden truck just shut down. No warning, no previous lurching, just quit on the spot. I managed to coast in under the bridge and it was towed to the dealer. Motor cranks over, but will not start. All lights work, electronics etc. Ford is stumped. Can't get it to start. The obvious was checked; fuel filter,ECM etc. They've been on the phone with the Ford Engineers all day. They just called me and said; and I quote.: We have no idea what to do next. Comforting eh? The truck has 59,000 kms (40,000 miles)

Sounds like a spark or fuel issue. They should be checking the HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) as well as the in-tank pump

Sorry to hear this. Not confidence inspiring for the rest of us. Is this specific to EB models?

You crossed thru the Electromagnetic field which immobilized your electronics and caused your engine to cutoff. Just push and hold Ctrl/Alt/Del to reboot your truck!! Sorry had to do it. Just glad that this didn't cause and accident. Great, just another thing to be concerned with these computer controlled F150's.

Yeah, get me a truck with air conditioning and a radio. I don't need anything else. They gave me a brand new F 150 Eco from the rental fleet to drive until they find the problem.

Maybe a blown fuse or loose fuse or relay

It can't be too many things, as it is still just an engine. Fuel, air, spark. They will figure it out. Remember, most grease-monkeys aren't the smartest critical thinkers.
