Default 2012 Low Profile F150

As soon as I drove off the lot, I noticed that my FX2 sets lower than most F150s.
WHen side-by-side with others, the top of my bed seems to be as much as 3"-4" lower than other F150s, same body design FX2's.
I bought it new and it is stock.
Just curious why mine might be lower.
I have 18" wheels.
But I don't know if that is the cause.

This might be the case, as it had several extras that normally don't come on the FX2.
I'll check the sticker and see if it says anything.
I'll also get a picture and post.
It certainly isn't a low-rider.
But it is noticeable when I am next to most F150s.

Looks like you have smaller tires on it? Maybe that's a 2wd thing though.

I believe its just the nature of the FX2, compared to and FX4 with beefier suspension. A lot of 4x4's around which are probably what you're comparing to.

That was my first thought, but in the 4+ years I have owned it, I have seen it against other FX2s and I still seem to set lower.
It does have 18" wheels, but again, I have seen other trucks with the same wheels and I seem to set lower.

Not a big deal.
Just curious if anyone had a thought.

Perhaps someone on here with an FX2 can measure their wheel well height for you? I'd gladly do it on my FX4, but it wouldn't do you any good for an apples to apples comparison.
