Does the display record 'lifetime gas mileage' or should I depend on
Trip a/b in the menu?

I never touched the trip b and so I have a record of my total mileage and gallons used. Also the economy gauge if never reset will display the total lifetime mileage. My 2012 at about 25000 miles is 19.1.

I also, never touched my B mileage trip for about 10k miles.
However, just this week, I fat fingered the reset and lost my
Data. I'm gonna try the economy, as u said. Thanks again.
My lifetime was about 18mpg .

For those that may not be familar with it, FUELLY is great for keeping fuel mileage history.

you can see lifetime mpg by entering the service menu

1. Turn truck off
2. Press and hold "OK" (this is for 4.2" LCD's, theres a similar button on the base cluster)
3. Turn truck on, keep holding "OK"
4. IPC enters engineering mode - ENGINEERING MODE displayed on 4.2" LCD
5. Press OK to cycle through tests until you get to fuel economy- i forget exactly what they call it.

I did the Menu like you said, "truckerdude", then
cycled thru until i got to RAFE. That displays
the average lifetime fule mileage. Dunno but i
think RAFE, is Record Average Fuel Economy.
What do you guys think?

Not sure what the heck it means but I'm happy to know that I can play with trip B and know that there is a record of lifetime mileage.

Awesome! Also glad there is a backup to trip B, plus now I can actually use trip A for small trips and B for the whole tank, and the instantanious one for messing around.

I also like that it shows coolant temp and voltage. I wish those items were available on the regular screens.
