Hey guys.

Had the dreaded "check 4x4" light come on this weekend. No odd sounds or actions but while attempting any 4x4 shift or diff lock the truck does nothing.

Went ahead and ran forscan and got the following two codes:

IPC: U0102 - Lost Communication with TCCM
ABS: U0114 - Lost Communication With Four Wheel Drive Clutch Control Module

Tried a pretty extensive search online and didn't have much luck anywhere. I will check for vacuum operation in the morning to see if the IWE system is working correctly. I replaced the IWE actuators about 15k miles ago, and I replaced the vacuum hose system about 6 months ago.

Anybody have any ideas?

 

With those codes you should be looking for wiring damage. Critters + winter = love of a warm place to nest. What better place than a warm machine.
