It came right from Ford corporate. He sent me a screen shot of the message from them. Brutal. Parts guy couldn't believe it but had no solution.

If they screwed up, they need to make it right. Eat the cost and get you 4 matching wheels. Wheather silver or darker silver. They match.

That has always been the price for OEM wheels. You guys must not have looked before. Some of them are listed at $1800. Each.

Now, paying that as a consumer would be ridiculous. Best is to buy take-offs, can usually get any set of OEM wheels for ~$1200, including the factory tires, in basically perfect condition. Of course, these wheels are too old for that option, anymore.

Yeah, like he said^ there are a lot of options.

Kills me to see the same time & tires I paid $500 for 6 years ago going for twice as much...

Listed is one thing, sold for $xxx is another. I managed to finally sell my black rims for $600 with the tires.

not sure why you dont just powdercoat one rim to match the other three for 150. You can even send the bill to the dealer and see if they can reimburse you full or half.
