I was just going through some pictures from day one (3 1/2 years ago), to a random picture a week ago. It's probably just a placebo effect but my rims look lighter every year.
They are in order, day 2, then probably around 2 years old, then a week ago.
Might be head games, but they look lighter.

So, update from dealer. They manufacturer has had trouble with getting the right color. They have produced a lighter version under a different part number. Great right?
Here is the rub....it is twice the price of the normal one. Almost $1200 per rim!!! No win situation!

I bought these in 2011 off of a 2010 FX4 for $500. Tires were okay, rims were mint.
Had them on my 05, then had plans for winter tires for the 14. They've been sitting doing nothing for almost 4 year's now.

is it a leased vehicle? if not, just take them off and get them repainted to gloss black, check out my thread you won't regret it, it looks 100% better. If it is leased and you want to keep the grey color, just get one rim powdercoated to match your other wheels (they will match trust me), going to cost you around 150 Canadian. If you are in Toronto, you can take it to Carconne or Leprecon, both are legit and reasonable priced.
