Ordered mine, coming in white and clearly the stripe has to go. Dealer said they could not leave it off on the factory order. How do I get the stripe off without damaging the paint? I assume it is a sticker, should I use a hair dryer, or just peel them off carefully? And once off, how do I clean any residue off without damaging the paint?
And I take it the same goes for the FX4 sticker, I like to remove all badges.

You kill me lol. There wasnt one around when I got my truck so I added the stripe to mine (800$ for the decal). Worked out becasue I dont like the seats on the AP truck. Its like a pinstrip material. IDK how others have removed it but id bet on a new truck it would pell off pretty easy.

Cool deal...I have seen a silver one with the AP package once but thats it. I saw a white one that looked like a AP but with the sticker removed. You cant miss me...ill be the only one striped with the GM rims and body colored running boards lol.

Mine is white, took the stripe off the day I got it ( didn't hate it just I'm to old for stripes) they came off almost too easy, no heat just picked and pulled. The little bit of residue came off with GooGone...15 minutes done.

I think it looks great on Black and sterling silver because it is kinda stealth...otherwise I am not sure on other color combos. I guess if they were all
same color on other shade of same color

It's not silver it's black. Just looks like grey/silver bc the black decal has small holes in it that show the paint on the underside. Reminds me of the dimples in a golf ball except they're cut out. I looked at it when I bought mine and said I thought it would have looked a lot better with the black decal and the dealer said it was and pointed out the holes in it to me. Sure enough, black on white looks like its grey.

Any before/after stripe pics available? I have black on black but am curious to see what she would look like without it. I really like the black on black bc it's really hard to see unless you are paying real good attention. Mine is prob baked on by now thanks to the houston heat but I was just wondering what it looked like?
