Quick question - the gray / purple wire in the passenger sill is hot when the courtesy lights are on but the same wire drivers side isn't lighting the test light. Is it a different color on that side?

I'm wiring footwell lights tied to the domes but can't find the wire on the driver side. Any thoughts?

Also, I'm trying to tap a wire that's hot with the parking lights too so any input there would be appreciated.

Before I'm chastised, I tried search and am on mobile so it's a bit cumbersome to see some of the diagrams.

Well, I just ended up wiring both sides to the passenger side wiring. Anyone have insight on the other wire I need? I'm looking for a wire that sends hot to the instrument panel backlighting that comes on with the headlights. I'd like to catch the wire where it illuminates the shifter in the console. Anyone know which wire I need?
