Default 2012 Fan blower weak (auto climate control)

My 2012 FX-4 with luxury (read nav) package intermittently blows really weak air when it's cold out. Today was -15 Celsius and I had the temp at 22* on auto and it was blowing really weak, so I turned auto off and jacked the fan to max via the fan speed button and it was still barely blowing. I then shut the truck off and turned it back on, and all was well, blowing lots of hot air.

Not sure if it's a faulty blend door, or climate control module?

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm sitting at the dealer right now waiting to see if they'll put in a 3rd steering rack and I mentioned this climate issue to them.

Thanks in advance guys.

Hi Honey Boo Boo,

What did the dealer say about your concern? Please fill me in on the situation by sending me more information including your odometer reading and I'll see what I can do.

The dealer said they could not duplicate the issue and that there were no codes present.

Keep in mind this is the same dealer that won't warranty an EPAS rack because I have tires that are 10mm wider than stock.

The truck has 29 000 kilometres.

Man that sounds like a bad dealer. I would try to go to different dealer.

That was the second dealer. They won't warrant it because of my levelling kit and 285/60/20 tires.

I sold my stock wheels/tires so switching back isn't an option. I understand their warranty and modification procedures, but it's not like I have 600hp and am ripping tranny's apart.

If I can't level my truck and put 33" rubber on it without hurting the steering rack, something is wrong - and it's not my modifications.

They won't acknowledge the fact that this is just as common on stock trucks.

Honestly just waiting to see if the diesel Titan is any good then get a good trade in on this $60 000 lump.
