Default 2012 F150 Leveling kit and tires question

Hey guys, I was thinking about putting on a leveling kit on my F150 eco.. I don't really like how the front end drops down therefore making the rear end look higher up. I always thought a leveled out truck looked awesome. My point is, what brand and " would be the best way to go in the long run? I was thinking about getting a Readylift 2.0" leveling kit. Would that void warranty?

Now the tires, what kind of All-Terrain tire is good? I'll eventually get new ones once my perelli's wear out. Thanks for the help guys!

Thumbs up 2012 boost

I went with a 3" front lift & a 1" rear. Nitto terra 305/20" grablers. Love the combo. Truck handles so much better now. Had to change to rough country shocks also.

Readylift or ProComp are both good leveling kits. If you have an FX4, it is recommended that you stay at 2". There are several discussions on the best AT tire. I personally went with BFG and could not be happier.

I went with 2" level and 34" Goodyear Duratrac tires. 275/65/20 with no rub

Let me know what you end up going with. I've been yes and no about a leveling kit in my 2010 FX4. I think they look awesome I just don't want to lose my nice ride or put any strain on my drivetrain. Maybe if I just put a small kit in it wouldn't change my ride any, do they make 1" kits??

Thanks for the help guys, @supertron74, yes I have the FX4 package. I will do it all once I need new tires, I'll get the level and new tires done at once. Should look BA in the end!

So now I'm thinking of going with Readylift 2.0", and 285 or 30's tires. I personally think that would look awesome when finished..

peterson, i heard Readylift does a 1.5" level as well..check that out.

I'll have to check that out. Like you said I don't want my warranty to be voided also so ill have to ask a dealer about that. I noticed a lot of guys putting lifts in the rear along with the front. I wonder if ill have to do that too even with putting a small lift in the front

How's the ride compared to stock with those shocks at the highest setting? Did you do anything to the rear end? How's it look with a load in the box?

2012 F150 Leveling kit and tires question-700x800.jpg

bilstien 5100's at the highest setting, i haven't had the chance to install my fat bob's aal yet, but so far i've had a little over 2000 lbs of rocks in the bed, and about a month ago towed a 93 cummins club cab ram, with another club cab ram (cab only) tied down to the bed of the complete truck on a pretty heavy duty trailer from indiana back to michigan and the rear end did not sit that much lower than before the level. also the ride atleast to me is not noticeably better or worse with the bilstiens day to day, but the bilstiens really shine over the stock shocks when i have been to the dunes, much better rebound and alot more resistant to heating up and loosing their effectiveness.

sorry all i have is the picture i posted on instagram, i lost all my stuff when i upgraded to io6
