Default 2012 F150 Gap in Bed

Just had the dealer remove the liner and install Line-X. After install... I noticed there is gap all along the front edge of the bed as well as a few spots tail end on each side. Is this normal? About to install a bed cover with a gasket kit... the gaps seems defeat the purpose of gasket kit if it's gonna let air/dirt in.

Mine is the same. I figured it was for drainage.

Thanks! I guess I'll leave them alone then... was thinking about sealing them with ATV.

That drains the water out of the bed when it rains. Other wise you would have a pool in your box everything it rained.

Shaking my head.
