Default 2012 f150?

Hey guys, this is my first post on your forum.

Hope to be hanging out here in the future!

I have a 2006 F250 Powerstroke diesel that I'm thinking of trading within the next year or so. I no longer need a diesel, so the F150 looks like my best choice. I drove my dad's 2010 F150 CC Lariat this weekend and these trucks are sweeeeeeeet! No wonder they've been the best seller for so long!

Anyway - Is Ford planning an updated truck in 2012? I heard it was going to be a totally new truck from top to bottom? I would hate to spring on a 2011 and then see the 12s roll out right behind me, ya know?

I will be buying a CC Lariat with the 5.0. I was really surprised at the power dad's truck has (5.4). I have a Mustang GT too and the truck pulled hard up to the speed limit from a stop. I can only imagine the 5.0.

Thanks!

The engine upgrade cost ford tons of money so i wouldn't expect anything huge until the 2014 models are announced that is when they redesign the truck you can trust me my family is on the board

Fast response.

Thanks man!

I was super impressed with dad's truck. My F250 is a workhorse, but I just couldn't believe how refined and comfortable the new F150s are.

Giving this a bump.

Anyone know when the 2011 trucks are going to be on the lots?

Would like to go ahead and test drive a 5.0 so I can do some planning.

I hope they hold off as long as possible for a redesign. I just bought a 2010 and would like to have the "new" body style f150 for atleast few years as much as they cost now days.....

The 2011's should be hitting the lots any day now.
