I heard or read I should say recently that all 2011+ F-150's have the Elec Assist power steering. is this true? wanting to find out if my 2012 FX4 has EASP.

I'm wondering as I also have a fisher HT plow that I strap on for plowing my driveway and my fathers. I know the new models 2015+ that have a snowplow package its basically a button that shuts off the EAPS from what I understand so I guess I just want to know if I have it I can be watchful of it and what not and maybe even get a bigger alternator or something to ensure I have enough electric for all the basics if this all makes sense.

long and short of it from this post I just want to know if my Truck as a 2012 fx4 has or doesn't have the EAPS unit.

If your FX4 has the 6.2L engine, then it does NOT have the EPAS system.

If it has any other engine in it, then it DOES have the EPAS system.
