Default 2012 Exterior mirror issue?!

Noob owner here. Just bought 2012 F150 FX2 yesterday and I'm trying to figure out how to fold my mirrors in.

The manual gave directions for power folding which has the option on the bottom of the dial. My truck dosent show that feature on the dial.

Does this mean I have manual? If so why don't they easily fold in? I have to apply quite a bit of pressure to nudge them. I stopped doing that in case of damage.

Any help appreciated!

If you have power folding mirrors, just place the mirror adjustment **** in the middle and then pull down on it to open/close them.

Correct I don't have that feature. Manual?

OEM mirrors are able to fold in both directions manually. Unless there is something damaged inside, you should be ok folding them when needed. Perhaps they just haven't been folded much and are stiff.
