Default 2012 Ecoboost Power Steering Issue

At highway speed my 2012 F150 Ecoboost feels like the steering is locked up. It isn't though, it just seems a little harder to turn around large curves and usually once the turn is started it's fine. It's fine at lower speeds. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem may be? I was hoping it was low on fluid but I see that it's electronic power steering so it's not going to be that easy. Any help would be much appreciated.

As Spiky noted ... lub' and free-up the joints on the steering shaft.

HINT/TIP: Make it a part of your routine (say) oil change maintenance.
