Default 2012 A/C Issue

Thought it was my imagination when I didn't feel any cold air on setting #1. Being odler, I thought I remembered that even on #1 my cabin would cool. So I started using #2. Now I don't feel any flow with it at #2. #3 and #4 work. Anyone know what causes this? Truck is still under warranty. I assume this is covered but will have to check my manual.

Michael Alio,

Do a search for A/C issues. Many of us have them and there is no real known fix unless your truck is low on refrigerant.

Hopefully you have a good dealer that will help you out. Many of us do not and Ford's customer service is a waste of time.

Good Luck

If you don't have any air flow, it could be a fan or blend door problem.

Welcome to the forum, Michael Alio! I suggest making an appointment at your dealership so they can check this out. What's the current mileage on your truck? I'll look into some ways to help.

I'm a little over 28K. I'll take it in next week.

Great idea, Michael. Come back and let us know how things go; I'll check in to see when you have any news.

Lower fan speeds not working is not really an ac issue. It def sounds like a blower motor resistor. Very common thing on any vehicle. It's literally a $20-30 part that takes about 8 minutes to replace behind your glove box.
