Default 2012 Broken spring

Hi,
I have 2012 F150 5.0 4wd with 120K miles and a broken front spring. It is broken right in the lower cup so is drivable. I will probably have my local mech do the replacement but need some advice.
My thinking would be to get a whole new assembly if available due to the milage and to save a bit on labor.
Where do I go to look for a pair of them? Not sure what the actual nomenclature is for such a thing but are they available?
Tom

you want what is called a quick strut in the business, most auto parts stores can get them, even the ford dealer depending on application

I just replaced the whole front suspension on my 2012, i bought the loaded coilover/ spring-strut assemblies on rock auto. That was the best price I could find for the OE replacements. The amount of disassembly required to replace it, you may want to look closely at your upper and lower control arms, tie rod ands and sway bar end links as well. There are several variations on there so make sure you match up for 4x4 etc... also theres a thread on here somewhere where people keep posting discount codes for rock auto, its usually 5% off

granted mine has a 2" spacer lift for a leveling kit (installed around 90k miles), at 160k my upper ball joints were starting to show some real wear and tear.

I have a 2012, 5.0 with 175K and both of my front springs are broken like yours. I was considering Bilstein coil overs to freshen up the suspension and level the truck.

I just replaced mine on my 2013. Got all the spring assemblies, upper control arm assemblies, and swaybar links from Rock Auto. Couldn't find a better price any where else.
