2011 Steering wheel Lock Question

I have a new 2011 Ecoboost and noticed that when I turn it off and remove the key, the steering wheel doesn't lock like it does on every other vehicle I've owned. Is this normal?

Can anyone tell me if their 2011 F-150's steering wheel locks when they turn it off and remove the key?? Easy question - just need an answer. Thanks!

My 2010 does not lock normally. It will however lock if the wheel is turned 180 degrees. Not sure why at that location, but it does. I assume your 2011 would be the same.
