Default 2011 screw vibration

I bought a used 2011 screw 5.5 fx4 last week. I have about 300 miles on it so far and bought it with 35k on the odo. I noticed it vibrates on acceleration and sometimes when coming to a stop sign gets a little more pronounced. Also I saw some guys discussing having the gear shift display always on instead of having to toggle it on, what do I have to ask the dealer to do in order to make that happen. The vibration feels like an unbalanced tire sometimes, but I don't notice it all the time. It has new tires with less then 4k miles on them.

Also it has the stock 6cd stereo, is there a different touchscreen unit I can install that can integrate with the backup cam and steering wheel controls or would I be stuck with oem.

Your vibration sounds like a bad universal joint. The only way to really tell if it is a universal joint is to remove the driveshaft and move the joint in all directions feeling for smooth travel.
A visual inspection or grab and wiggle inspection WILL NOT work.

Once it's toggled-on it will remain so (even across starts) unless turned-off.

The process is noted in the owner's manual though is a bit obscure - PRS (ProgressiveRangeSelection).

(owner's manual) Don't have one -OR- would like a digital, searchable desktop document?

Thanks, I wish it would stay on and not have to press the button each time the truck is started though. The truck vibrates a little even at idle. It is slight but I can feel it shudder. No CEL and no power problems but I believe the vibration is coming from the engine.
