Alright guys im seriously looking at the Platinum and was at the dealer the other day. They didnt have one, but of course said they could get one. The stealer said "they are in high demand", and could probably only take a couple grand off sticker with rebates. Really?????? With gas prices the way the are? What is a reasonable price OTD on a Plantinum without navigation?

At least with the Platinum in 2011 they have a black style dash and door trim instead of the dark brown wood grain. A little more similar to the Limited. But no two tone seats

On Edmunds you can calculate what they call "true market value". For the Platinum at a list price of $43,312 and an MSRP 48,130, they have true market value at 43,939. That apparently is the price others are paying for similar vehicles in my part of the country (Florida). I don't know if dealers will come down that far, but I don't think I would offer more than about 4 k less than MSRP on any Platinum. If they were so popular I wouldn't have seen 20 of them spread out among the orlando dealerships this weekend. Each dealer had about 3 or 4.

This should be a no-brainer: Get the Limited. Let's face it....Platinums are a dime-a-dozen, but the Limited is well...limited to what....5000 units?
Look up the 2008 Limiteds....those things still go for well over $35K, they hold their value far better than a Platinum, and are much more unique.

We love our trucks but...lol....EVERYONE has one JUST LIKE OURS, you'll see 'your' truck a hundred times a day whilst driving.
Unless you get a Limited Edition.

I just noticed on the ford build site; if you put the 6.2 in the platinum, apparently the only option for mirrors that you get are the manuel telescoping trailer ones. I think Ford is trying to drive me INSANE. If you pick the 5.0 it has the power folding ones. Also, the suspension on the limited and harley is sport tuned. Not sure if the 6.2 Platinum is the same, or not.....

Can't stand the obtrusive maple colored dash on the Lariat. Was a deal breaker.

Limited all the way. AWD is the #1 reason. I do have to say I am very disappointed with Ford and the 6.2L. 16 (in a perfect world) HWY MPG Really? That is terrible. I know it is a truck, but fuel mileage should not be going down now days. I am really not even impressed with the ecoboost numbers. That is if you can get a solid answer on the mileage of the ecoboost. I want the limited in the worst way but not sure I can justify the mileage.
