When I remote start my truck the climate control starts as it should.

But when I get in the truck half of the time when I put the key in and turn it the fans stop running and then start up again but sometimes they stay running.


Anyone know why, or know how to make the fan keep blowing?

mine does the same and I don't know why either.

 

I believe once you the ignition is turned on, it goes back to the previous ignition setting. I turn my a/c off a minute or so before turning the truck off to let the airblow moisture. If I remote start, put the key in, auto a/c reverts to off, have to turn it back on. So if I know I'll be remote starting, and need to have the a/c on right then, I will hit auto on the climate control a second or so before turning the ignition off.

 

@skier,you are exactly right.when you auto start it with auto climate the vehicle automatically chooses what temp and fan speed to put on,then when the key is put in it reverts back to the last setting before remote start.

I am loving the Limited.


Mine also goes to the setting it used to be set at. But what is confusing sometimes the fan doesn't stop it just keeps blowing when I turn the key.


Maybe because the setting just happen to be the same?


The only reason I ask is, it seems odd it is able to do it on it's own. I would prefer it to just keep the AC on and not turn the blower off then back on.

I would also like it to remember that I had my cooled seats on and turn them back on.

Oh well. The blower turning off and then back on and the update to Sync didn't truly let me just say Call "Insert Name Here, Cell" without having to say Phone first, is my only complaint so far.


I am getting tons of compliments on the Limited.

 

i agree with the cooled/heated seats and the sync.however i have an iphone so it only lets me do phone calls and audio streaming.

i get tons of compliments too! i only tinted the front windows and added a ford bed liner and a soft tri-fold tonneau cover.i plan to beef up the audio and install a sound processor that will allow me to add new amps and speakers/subwoofer.
